Granite
Granite is a common, hard, coarse-grained igneous rock formed from slowly cooling magma deep underground, primarily composed of the minerals quartz and feldspar, along with mica and amphibole. Its distinctive speckled appearance and wide range of colors—from white and pink to gray and black—depend on its mineral proportions. Due to its strength and durability, granite is widely used as a construction material for countertops, floor tiles, building facades, and monumental stonework.
